Location: Milwaukee, WI 53226
Duration: 4 Months+ (Possible Extension)
Schedule Notes: 3x12’s 0630–1900 Monday, 0900–2130 Tuesday & Wednesday (Can do Days 7/70) | Weekends Required: Yes | On Call Required: Yes | Float Position: No
Job Summary:
- Collaborates with the surgical team to provide patient care, ensuring patient goals are met and hospital mission is upheld.
- Performs procedures in a variety of specialties requiring knowledge and technical skills.
- Demonstrates a higher level of collaboration with peers in decision-making related to surgical patient care.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Required Skills & Experience:
- Two years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist.
Education Requirements:
- High School/GED and one of the following:
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
- Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist
- Completion of a Client-sponsored Apprentice II Program
- Ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Tech
Required Certifications:
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider or an AHA-approved equivalent
