Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - Travel
Location: Temple, TX 76502
Assignment Length: 3 + Months (Possible Extension)
Position Type: Travel (Temporary)
Shift/Schedule: Nights (NOC) | 3x12s | Friday–Sunday | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Interview Process: Virtual | 1 Round
Pay Range: $60 - $65/hr. on W2
Weekly gross: Up to $2340
Weekly Per diem: Yes (for travelers)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Travel Radiologic Technologist for a busy Level I Trauma center in Temple, TX. Under the supervision of a Radiologist, the technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures for ambulatory and hospitalized patients, following established protocols to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiology exams in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to radiation dose monitoring standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and families using AIDET principles
- Prepare and position patients; adjust equipment settings and utilize immobilization devices as needed
- Maintain compliance with infection control, radiation safety, and sterile technique policies
- Screen patients and visitors for safety prior to procedures
- Accurately document imaging records, patient information, and consent forms
- Maintain equipment cleanliness, functionality, and adequate supplies; report issues promptly
- Collaborate with engineers, physicists, and leadership to ensure optimal equipment performance
Certifications & Requirements:
- Certifications: ARRT, BLS (American Heart Association only)
- License: Texas Medical Board (TMB)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years

- Proficient in emergency response, first aid, and use of emergency equipment
- Experience working with patients of all age groups (newborn to geriatric)
- Willingness to serve as a preceptor and support team training initiatives
- Availability to take call, if required
