Description: Location/Division Specific Information: The Repack team at Ward Hill supports the safe, compliant packaging of chemical products across both regulated and non-regulated environments. Operations span powders, liquids, glovebox processing, pumping, labeling, and custom bulk packaging.
How Will You Make an Impact? You will support the safe, accurate, and compliant repackaging of chemical products while adhering to established procedures and safety standards. Your work contributes to maintaining quality, inventory accuracy, and overall operational reliability.
A Day in the Life Repack Operations (All Technicians):
Packaging Technicians support the safe, accurate, and compliant execution of repack operations across a variety of process areas. Daily responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Performing material and product handling, including movement, staging, and organization of bulk materials, intermediates, and finished goods
Handling and verifying components such as containers, closures, labels, and packaging materials
Repackaging chemical products, including powders and liquids, in both regulated and non-regulated environments
Operating within controlled environments such as gloveboxes and hoods
Utilizing production equipment including pumps, scales, sealing tools, and related systems
Executing labeling, verification, and fulfillment of standard and custom bulk orders
Supporting material flow, order readiness, and movement of work through operational processes
Participating in cross-functional activities aligned with business needs and operational priorities
Level Expectations Band I:
Demonstrates reliability by adhering to company attendance and Paid Time Off (PTO) policies, ensuring consistent coverage and proactive communication of any absences or schedule changes
Learns and performs all repack functions with some supervision
Follows SOPs, work instructions, and safety requirements exactly as written
Demonstrates a Safety-First mindset, including willingness to Stop the Line and escalate concerns
Actively participates in Hazard Identification (Haz ID)
Actively participates in the Just Do It (JDI) program by identifying and supporting small, actionable improvements to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency
Demonstrates growing ownership of Cost to Work Here (Safety, Time & Attendance, Quality, and PPI) by following expectations and supporting continuous improvement efforts
Requires guidance for complex or high-risk tasks
Builds consistency in quality, safety, and documentation
Progresses through structured training across all work areas
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
Required:
Minimum of 1 years of work experience in manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory, or related environment
Preferred:
Experience in a cGMP or regulated environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to follow written procedures with strong attention to detail
Basic math skills for weighing and counting
Ability to work in a regulated manufacturing environment
Strong manual dexterity and hand coordination
Willingness to learn and perform multiple functions across all process areas
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods of time
Strong manual dexterity and hand coordination required to handle small containers, closures, labels, and tools with precision
Ability to perform repetitive hand motions such as sealing, labeling, crimping, and weighing
Ability to work in a warehouse and regulated manufacturing environment
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods
Some degrees of PPE required, including safety glasses, gloves, gowns, respirators, or lab coats
Work environment may include varying temperatures, loud noise levels, and odors
