As part of the People Insights Area of Practice (AoP), we work as one team to unlock the full potential of our people data and technology, informing Client decisions through research-based insights.
The Opportunity:
Senior Data Engineer to work on an Agile team with other data and software engineers to develop and maintain robust data pipelines and data management systems. Partners closely with data science and business intelligence teams to understand business needs and co-create solutions in service of downstream products. Brings strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering highly accurate and available data to enable downstream insights and drive business value.
Delivers enhancements to existing data pipelines and develops new pipelines based on defined requirements with minimal guidance
Demonstrates strong understanding of data engineering tools and concepts and considered a SME for most, if not all pipelines
Detail-oriented mindset and co-creates pipelines with secure, well-validated data across multiple system domains with other squad members in a way that aligns with long-term strategy for People Insights
Who You Are:
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in technical or leadership competencies can be advantageous
Python experience (Pandas preferred)
CI/CD tools and methodologies (GitLab, branches, code reviews, merge requests, etc)
Understanding of DataOps Practices
RDBMS/NoSQL
Docker experience
AWS experience preferred (EC2 / Lambda / Glue / S3)
Snowflake or similar cloud data platform experience preferred
