2nd shift position
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This role will serve as a 2nd shift safety professional to support the Client North American Parts distribution center. This is a 24-7 operation, and this role will support the 2nd shift operation. The position will complete accident, incident, and near miss investigations and work with appropriate parties to develop and implement corrective actions. This role will help develop Client Required and OSHA compliance training as well as deploy all required training to the 2nd shift operation. This role will also support the management of mobile equipment certifications and certification tracking. This role will also serve as a general resource for risk identification, auditing, and control to the 2nd shift NAPDC operation.
SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS
-Experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment with a strong safety background is required.
- Safety Degree and/or very strong manufacturing safety experience leading accident investigations and developing and implementing corrective actions to reduce risk MUST HAVE
-Ability to develop and deliver safety compliance training.
-Working knowledge of OSHA Standards.
-MS Office suite
-CSP accreditation preferred but not required
