Distribution Technician
Job Title: Distribution Technician
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Bedford, MA 01730
Job Description
-
Prepare and account for all material movement documentation and update SAP accordingly.

Place all incoming and outgoing materials (finished goods, raw materials, supplies) in appropriate staging and storage locations.

Prepare materials for shipment involving all modes of transportation (LTL, TL, ocean, rail, air freight).

Verify receipts to ensure damage-free products are introduced into systems and accurate records are maintained.

Preserve the quality and integrity of materials during loading/unloading activities.

Keep and maintain designated warehouses safe, clean, and presentable at all times.

Print and collate shipping documents by order.

Respond to communications with other departments.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required:
-
1+ year of general work experience (does not need to be warehouse-specific)
-
Willingness to take new people with relevant skills
-
Inventory control skills/experience
-
No short jobs/quick turnaround history
Preferred:
-
2+ years of warehouse experience
-
Inventory management experience
Education:
-
High School Diploma required
Top Skills:

Computer software systems

Inventory management/control
-
Warehousing experience
-
Previous licensing on forklifts/electric power jacks, etc.
