Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location: Port Charlotte, FL
Duration: 4 months
Shift:Monday – Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm & Saturday: 6:00am – 10:00am

Job Description:
The PSR I represents the company to patients, drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing. They provide excellent patient care, ensuring safety, trust, and accurate procedure explanations. The PSR I follows established practices and maintains confidentiality while processing specimens.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform specimen collection and processing with accuracy and professionalism.

• Maintain required records and documentation.

• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and employees.

• Follow all safety and operational procedures under supervisor direction.

Requirements:

• 6 months minimum experience (phlebotomy preferred).

• Strong phlebotomy skills (pediatric & geriatric).

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification (preferred, required in some states).

• Customer service and data entry experience required.

• Must be flexible with availability for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

• Reliable transportation and ability to commute within 20-25 minutes.

• Punctuality is essential; excessive absenteeism will result in termination.
