Job Title: Workflow Coordinator
Job Location: Remote, RI 02895 (Manager located near Irving, TX; may request occasional in-office meetings if candidate is nearby)
Job Duration: 6 Months+ (Possible extension)
 
Pay Rate: $25.53/hr. on W2
 
Interview Process: 1 round IV with manager – Teams video interview (on-camera), 45 minutes

Position Summary:
The Clinical Operations Reporting & Workflow Coordinator is responsible for driving operational efficiency through data analysis, ticket management, and stakeholder collaboration. This role reviews weekly reports to identify actionable insights, manages operational tickets from creation through resolution, and maintains a comprehensive log of ticket activity. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for partnering effectively across teams and ensuring timely execution of operational improvements.
 
Duties:
Reporting & Analysis
  • Review weekly operational and performance reports for accuracy and relevance.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend and support implementation of process changes based on insights.
  • Present findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
Ticket Management
  • Create operational tickets based on identified issues or stakeholder requests.
  • Track tickets from initiation through resolution, ensuring timely updates and follow-through.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and close tickets efficiently.
Log Maintenance & Documentation
  • Maintain a running log of all tickets, including creation date, current status, progression notes, and final outcomes.
  • Ensure logs are updated regularly and accessible for reporting and audit purposes.
  • Provide summaries or dashboards of ticket activity to leadership as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on priorities and execution.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organize and facilitate discussions to resolve issues and drive improvements.
 
Experience:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly important – must be proactive, take initiative, and be a go-getter.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Background in clinical operations or healthcare preferred.
  • Underwriting experience, including PBM underwriting and general underwriting, is a plus.
 
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
