Specimen Processing Technician I (Night Shift)
Location: Cleveland, OH
Shift: 3rd Shift | 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM (EST)
Duration: 2 Months
Schedule: Night shift, weekends/holidays/on-call/overtime as needed

Job Overview:
Seeking a Specimen Processing Technician I (SPT I) to join our team in a fast-paced, production-based lab environment. This role involves handling and preparing lab specimens, including data entry, sorting, centrifugation, and aliquoting. Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform specimen processing tasks (A-station, presort, imaging, delivery, etc.)

• Accurately enter data (6,000+ keystrokes/hour)

• Work with various specimen types and follow compliance regulations

• Communicate effectively across departments

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Basic computer skills required

• Medical/lab background preferred (not required)

• Must be comfortable working in a biohazard environment

• Ability to sit/stand for long periods and adapt to changing demands

Note: Role is located in the Automates area and is critical to lab operations and customer satisfaction.
