Job Title: Cath Lab Technician
Location: Bricktown, NJ 08724
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)

Pay Range: $54 - $57/hr. on W2

Position: Cath Lab Technician – Cardiac Cath Lab (CWR)
Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Schedule: 40 hours/week, 4x10
Weekend: Required as needed
Holiday: Required (1 summer, 1 winter)
On-Call: Required, 7–10 shifts
Float: Not required
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and accurate delivery of cardiac procedures to patients.
• Pass Monitor Technician Certification/Annual Telemetry Review.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain technical equipment including x-ray/film processing.
• Maintain downtime logs, procedural logs, and technical notations accurately.
• Obtain, calculate, and analyze hemodynamic data.
• Assist in patient prep and procedure, ensuring maximum comfort and safety.
• Educate patients pre- and post-procedure.
• Prepare and maintain procedure room, ensuring par levels of supplies and equipment.
• Scrub with cardiologists; maintain aseptic technique and universal precautions.
• Perform scrub tech skills: LHC, RHC, PTCA, STENT, PTCRA, PTMR, TEC.
• Verify patient identification, consents, and all medical documentation.
• Follow all operational, troubleshooting, quality control, and archival procedures.

• IABP Certification
• Monitor Technician Certification / Annual Telemetry Review

• Minimum 3 years experience in Cardiac Cath Lab
• Experience with Impella and balloon pump

• Mac Lab experience
• EPIC EMR experience
• Permanent pacemaker placement experience

• Scrub Color: Green
• Day shift, 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM, 4x10 schedule
• Weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage required as above
