Duration:1-2 Months
Pay rate: $25/hr on W2
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of our organization, representing our values and commitment to patient care. The PSR II is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens from patients, preparing those specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. This position requires strong interpersonal skills to build trust and confidence with patients while adhering to all procedural guidelines. The PSR II will also demonstrate leadership behaviors and focus on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in patient information.
Primary Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and efficiently under the supervision of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing, following all established procedures.

Verify patient demographics and obtain post-venipuncture signatures to confirm tube labeling in the presence of the patient.

Accurately maintain all required records and documentation.

Promote a positive image of the company to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.

Provide superior customer service by addressing patient needs and concerns in a courteous and respectful manner.
Job Requirements:

Deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Possess excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Maintain flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including dress code and health/safety standards.

Make sound decisions based on established protocols and exhibit good judgment.

Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a clean driving record (if applicable).

Willingness to travel and work at multiple locations with minimal notice.

Effectively handle multiple priorities in high-volume settings.

Demonstrate superior customer focus, strong communication skills, adaptability to change, and a strong understanding of company operations.
Education Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
-
Medical training such as Medical Assistant or Paramedic training (Preferred)
-
Phlebotomy certification (Preferred; Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
Work Experience:
-
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment (Preferred)

Prior customer service experience in a retail or service environment (Highly preferred)
-
Experience with keyboarding and data entry.
