Job Title: Surgical Technologist- First assist
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Duration: 3+ Months of contract (possibility of extension)

Shift: 7am to 05:30pm, weekends and holidays as needed.
Note: On Call: 2 days required in a rolling 4-week period

Note: Non-Taxable Per Diem is provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility.

Duties:

• The Surgical Technologist maintains responsibility for preparation of the surgical suite, intraoperative handling of instruments, maintenance of the sterile field, and evaluation of changing conditions during the surgical procedures, making appropriate responses as needed.
• Is responsible for maintaining knowledge of surgical procedures and principles related to those procedures.
• Works proactively with physicians to submit preference card changes to align specialties.

• Associate's Degree or equivalent.
• Completion of an Accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Experience working with GYN and Breast care – Preferred

• CSFA through NBSTA.
• BLS – AHA
