Phlebotomist I

Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I)
Location: Bonita Springs, FL
Shift: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Sat 6:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
Duration: 3+ months

Overview:
The PSR I is the first point of contact for patients, providing a welcoming and professional experience. Responsibilities include drawing blood, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing confidently and accurately.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment.
• Document and maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, and staff.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Minimum 6 months experience; 1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, keyboard, and data entry skills.
• Flexible to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Skills:

• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, confidentiality, and quality service.
