Phlebotomist II
Location:Grapevine, TX, 76051
Duration: 2 Months
Shift:M-F 7:30AM-4:30PM W/Rotational Saturdays
Job Summary:
The PSR II serves as the face of the company by providing high-quality patient care and accurate specimen collection services. This position requires exceptional phlebotomy skills, professionalism, and attention to detail. The PSR II collects, labels, and processes specimens while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric blood draws safely and accurately.

Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing according to established protocols.

Verify patient identity, demographics, and labeling accuracy in the patient’s presence.

Maintain accurate records and documentation in the electronic system.

Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming and professional environment.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Support team operations across multiple locations as needed, including weekends or holidays.

Demonstrate leadership behaviors and uphold confidentiality and accuracy standards.

Communicate effectively with patients, supervisors, and team members.

Uphold company policies, dress code, and everyday excellence principles.
Skills & Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of phlebotomy techniques, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Proficient in data entry and electronic health record systems.

Flexible and willing to travel or cover multiple sites as needed.
Education & Experience:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
-
Medical Assistant or Paramedic training (preferred).
-
Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in CA, NV, WA).
-
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
-
2 years in a Patient Service Center environment (preferred).
-
Customer service or retail experience (preferred).
