Duration: 12-month W2 contract with strong potential for extension based on performance and business needs
Work Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST
Pay Rate: $29.30/hour (W2)
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant responsible for preparing and analyzing cost reports and conducting costing audits. This role requires familiarity with standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures, and involves working under general supervision to achieve departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze cost reports to support financial decision-making.

Conduct costing audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Apply accounting principles and standard practices in daily tasks.

Collaborate with team members and report progress to supervisors or managers.

Exercise judgment and creativity in resolving routine accounting issues.
Qualifications

Bachelor s degree preferred.

2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience or related field.

Knowledge of standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.

Ability to work independently with general supervision.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
