- Partners to understand and refine World Cup assortments aligned to physical spaces and calendar moments
- Works closely with Planning and Allocation to drive on-time and complete assortments at the individual door level
- Communicates strategy as well as challenges and roadblocks
- Connects with key stakeholders regularly
- Supports NSW amplification of GFB products
- Shares best practices with Client Canada team
- Manages curation of holistic, consumer- right assortment strategies for focus doors during World Cup
- Curates and adapts assortment aProductst physical spaces and local team relevancy
- Executes Assortments with precision in close collaboration with Planning and Allocation
- Surfaces gaps and opportunities aProductst vision including inventory/late delivery risks
- Drives a focused POV on executing the NSO priority door and NVS host city door full-price assortments
- Shares insights on style performance and discusses which styles are driving beats & misses to forecast / plan and why, providing assortment context
- Drives actions in weekly business reviews to
- Provides recommendations on agile inventory responses across ND Channels
- Creates recommendation for inventory flow to NVS across the Sport Moment timeline
- Inspires confidence through partnership, collaboration, and communication

Project Context
- Additional support is needed to deliver Client Direct assortment excellence pre/during/and post-World Cup 2026
- 2026 is the first time the US will be hosting the mens World Cup since 1994
- There will be 48 teams playing 104 games for ~10 weeks (6/12-8/19)
- US Host Cities: Seattle, San Francisco, LA, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Miami, Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, NYC/New Jersey
- Canada Host Cities: Vancouver, Toronto
- Role will be focused on physical store assortments across NSO and NVS with supporting collaboration with the NDDC team
- NA Direct will be running IBAs starting in December bi-weekly to weekly closer to tournament time
- Current structure does not have sufficient GFB coverage to support the tournament
- NA ND Sport Merch Directors cover: GFB, Basketball, Team, Licensed, Golf, Tennis, and Field Sports
- No buyers in all of NA Direct are dedicated entirely to GFB
Additional attention is needed to:
- Priority store assortments
- Win/lose scenarios
- Post-tournament transition to NVS
- Recommending beginning of January to end of August project (9 months)
