Pay Rate: $22.50/hr. on W2
Shift: 2nd Shifr - Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for meeting daily customer demand and production schedules while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. This role involves assembling and testing medical devices using specialized equipment, fixtures, work instructions, and test systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for meeting daily customer demand and production schedules while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. This role involves assembling and testing medical devices using specialized equipment, fixtures, work instructions, and test systems within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test medical devices using specialized equipment, fixtures, and work instructions.
- Ensure production schedules and customer demand are met in collaboration with Manufacturing Lead and/or Specialist.
- Participate in basic problem-solving activities to maintain stable work cell operations.
- Report quality, process, equipment, material, or labor concerns to the Manufacturing Lead or Production Supervisor.
- Follow and complete standard work procedures consistently and accurately.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (DBS concepts) within the designated work area.
- Sustain 5S practices by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Actively contribute as a member of the production team.
- Adhere to company Quality System policies and procedures.
- Complete required documentation to meet regulatory and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating procedures, and work instructions.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Experience in medical device manufacturing.
- Micro-product assembly experience.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in environments containing adhesives, solvents, and chemical processes.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching, climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, and twisting.
- Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to inspect small parts for extended periods (close vision and color vision required).
- Willingness to work in controlled environments with specific apparel and hygiene requirements.
