Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NM Tech) - College Station, TX
Assignment Type: Temp (Possible Extension)
Travel Required: Yes
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Shift: AM
Interview: 1 round phone interview
Scrubs: Hunter Green (must purchase)

Certifications Required:

ARRT (N) or NMTCB and TMB

BLS
Experience: Minimum 1 year; cardiac heavy experience required; ability to partner with stress lab; strong teamwork skills
Job Summary
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as ordered by physicians or licensed providers. This role ensures high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with established protocols and regulatory standards.
Essential Functions

Perform high-quality planar, SPECT, and SPECT/CT procedures according to exam protocol.

Conduct equipment quality control (QC) per manufacturer, RAM, and ACR standards.

Communicate clearly with patients and families, ensuring understanding of procedures.

Adhere to safety, infection control, and radiation safety requirements.

Administer radiopharmaceuticals and adjunctive medications safely and per protocol.

Collaborate with colleagues, physicians, and radiologists to ensure optimal patient care.

Maintain supply inventory, order radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure accurate PACS transfer.
