Job Title: Digital Business Analyst III
Location: Houston, TX – Hybrid (4 days a week onsite)
Duration: 6 + Months (Possibilities of Extension)

Note: This position is a temp-to-hire after 6 months. Parking will not be reimbursed until the candidate transitions to a Full-Time Employee.
 
Job Description:
  • Understands systems, business processes, and data.
  • Supports the efforts in the discovery, design, implementation, and support of various data processes, information technology/systems applications, and/or projects across the customer experience journey.
  • Coordinates and tracks the efforts of multiple project teams to support a broad spectrum of business needs related to customer experience.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned and may vary by department.
  • Coordinates with product owners and business process owners, documents requirements, and communicates common goals for the team to deliver business priorities.
  • Coordinates with business owners to determine business needs or requirements to deliver and execute on the customer product roadmap.
  • Works with Business SMEs to understand the problem statement (i.e., communication with multiple stakeholders to understand the business requirements) and documents the requirements by grooming the stories and capturing the acceptance criteria to deliver and execute on the release.
  • Supports initiatives and projects, establishes plans based on priorities, and monitors progress. Responsible for aligning the KPIs and ensuring we are effectively tracking the value/impact of capabilities.
  • Coordinates with multiple teams and leads functional design solution discussions. Develops documentation to satisfy business needs.
  • Coordinates with various product teams to integrate the project with applications and/or initiatives.
  • Prepares reports and presentations to support business needs for ongoing and future projects.
  • Experience in JIRA and Confluence to develop and maintain work items and backlog of processes for discovery and implementation.
  • Possesses knowledge/experience in an integrated implementation between different business systems, as well as working with integration tools, QA testing, system design and analysis, and project management.
  • Possesses strong analytical and communication skills. Able to prepare and run program standups, demos, meeting cadences, and communicate with business stakeholders.
  • Collects data about as-is processes and expectations from the to-be process state, analyzes the data, and helps build the Business and Data glossary.
 
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This job has no supervisory duties but may occasionally act as a team lead.
 
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science or Business Administration.
    • In lieu of degree: High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience:
    • Eight years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).
  • Preferred:
    • Business Analysis or Project Management certification.
 
Skills Required:
  • Requires an excellent understanding of standard business practices related to Data Management/Governance processes and systems, with the ability to document business requirements and manage small-scale business process and system enhancement projects.
  • Advanced knowledge or skills in the following is preferred:
    • Salesforce – Sales and Service Cloud.
    • Business analyst methodologies, system design and analysis.
    • Data Governance methodologies.
    • Analytical and Communication skills.
    • Master & Reference Data Management, preferably Stibo.
    • Agile Methodology, JIRA, Lucid Charts, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.
    • Hands-on experience in ANSI SQL.
 
Work Environment:
  • Normal setting for this job is an office setting.
  • 4 days a week onsite.
