The Radiation Therapist administers radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. This role involves operating advanced radiation equipment, ensuring accurate treatment delivery, and providing compassionate patient care throughout the treatment process.

Job Summary:
The Radiation Therapist administers radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist. This role involves operating advanced radiation equipment, ensuring accurate treatment delivery, and providing compassionate patient care throughout the treatment process.
Duties:
- Administer radiation therapy treatments per physician prescription.
- Operate Varian Linear Accelerators (TrueBeam, ExactTrac, HDR).
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment setup.
- Monitor patients during treatment and respond to any adverse reactions.
- Maintain detailed treatment records using ARIA v16 and EPIC systems.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with oncologists, physicists, and care teams.
- Educate patients on treatment procedures and side effects.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report issues.
Requirements:
- ARRT Certification – Require
- Oregon State License – Required
- 2+ years of Radiation Therapy experience
- Experience with Varian Linear Accelerators (TrueBeam, ExactTrac, HDR)
- Experience with ARIA v16 and EPIC systems
