Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

Job Description:

• The Cath Lab tech works in a multidisciplinary lab, supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing or interventional procedures.
• Performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment, while applying prescribed procedure for operation of radiology imaging equipment.

Requirements:

• Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities - Required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality - Required.
• NIHSS, BLS & ACLS - Required.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written - Required.
• Effective interpersonal skills - Required.
• RCIS / ARRT - Required.
• Two or more years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience required.
• Degree in related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or years of equivalent experience-Required.

• Must live 100 miles away.
