ENTRY Phlebotomist I

Location: North Port, FL
Job Duration: 4+ Months (with possibility of extension)
Shift Timings:

• Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Rotational Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

We are seeking a compassionate and customer-focused Entry Level Phlebotomist to join our team in North Port, FL. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in phlebotomy and healthcare services. The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) will be the welcoming face of our organization, supporting patients during their visits and learning essential phlebotomy skills to grow within the company.

• Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-ins via self-service kiosks or handheld tablets.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the waiting area.
• Support other phlebotomists during breaks and downtime.
• Learn and perform phlebotomy procedures (forensic and clinical specimen collection) following established protocols.
• Ensure accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality.
• Promote a safe, professional, and positive environment for patients and staff.
• Demonstrate commitment to organizational values and a willingness to learn new skills.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
• Experience:
  • 1–2 years of client-facing customer service experience (REQUIRED)
  • Experience in retail, home health aide, or similar roles preferred
  • Keyboard/data entry proficiency is essential
  • Prior phlebotomy experience is NOT required

• Must be willing to learn and perform phlebotomy duties.
• Candidates interested only in front desk roles without phlebotomy training should not apply.
• Reliable transportation to/from the worksite is mandatory (rideshare/bus not considered reliable).
• Must be punctual, available for full shifts, and committed to attendance standards.
• Candidates should live within a 20–25 minute commute from the worksite.
