Job Title: Senior HR Generalist
Job Location: Michigan, REMOTE
Job Duration: 2+ Months with possible extension or temp to hire

Shift: Mon - Fri (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)

 
Summary:
The Senior Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting and coordinating HR policies and programs across managed lab operations. This role covers key HR functions including recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, and employee relations for designated client groups. The position reports to the HR Leader of Client/PLS and provides functional HR support to multiple internal teams.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions, ensuring compliance with corporate hiring policies.
  • Administer company performance management and salary programs in alignment with corporate standards.
  • Serve as a representative for employee relations matters by counseling employees and managers, gathering information, and collaborating with HR Shared Services to recommend appropriate actions.
  • Facilitate training programs and career development initiatives for assigned client groups.
  • Partner with the HR Leader, Client/PLS, to manage annual HR planning processes, including performance reviews, compensation planning, and goal setting.
  • Act as Glint Survey administrator for designated client groups.
  • Support employees with benefits coverage concerns by coordinating with Corporate HR and Corporate Benefits to resolve issues.
  • Assist in organizational design and change management initiatives to support business needs.
 
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience is required.
  • Experience working in a medical or healthcare environment is preferred.
 
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Arts is required.
 
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft or Oracle HR systems.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR practices including employment law, benefits administration, and employee relations.
