Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: New York, NY 10011
Duration: 3+ Months contract (possibility of extension)
Shift: 9 AM – 5 PM (8*5)hours, weekends and holidays as needed.
Payrate: $62/hour. on w2
Note: Non-taxable Per Diem is provided to the candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility.

Duties:
- The Ultrasound Technologist performs or assists in ultrasound examinations, renders technical assistance to the Radiologist, and maintains and cares for all ultrasound equipment.
- Duties and Responsibilities (in order of importance and/or frequency).
- Prepares and examines all patients for ultrasound examinations in accordance with established departmental procedures and techniques.
- Operates and adjusts ultrasound equipment, takes safety precautions necessary to protect patients and personnel from electric shock or other hazards.
- Sets up, operates, cleans, and makes minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography technical training program.
- ARDMS
- BLS-AHA
