Location: North Port, FL
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday
Duration: 3+ months

Role Summary:
The PSR I is responsible for drawing blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing while ensuring accuracy, safety, and excellent patient care. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients, creating a professional, reassuring experience and maintaining confidentiality and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collection (phlebotomy) for clinical and forensic testing
• Ensure specimens are properly labeled, processed, and documented
• Maintain accurate records and follow all procedures and safety standards
• Provide courteous, high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Work independently while meeting daily performance and time requirements
• Support a safe, professional, and positive clinic environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience (required)
• Strong blood draw skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in some states)
• Experience in customer service preferred
• Basic data entry/keyboard skills required
• Must be flexible for occasional overtime, weekends, holidays, or on-call needs
