Senior Underwriting Representative
The Underwriting Account Senior Representative, within Client s Supplemental Benefits contributes to the Underwriting process through the handling of all Medicare Supplement, Health and Life underwritten applications.
Essential Responsibilities:
Review medical history, data and interviews employing critical thinking skills
Operating third party software to summarize application medical and health data
Provide written correspondence, to the applicant or broker, regarding outstanding application requirements
Qualifications:
High School diploma is required
2+ years insurance or medical experience required, preferably medical insurance or PBM background
1+ yr. of customer service experience preferably on phones
Medical terminology preferred
Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize workload independently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of medical conditions/prescriptions
Remote
