Duration: 2 months
Pay Rate: $21/Hr on W2.
Job Summary:
The Phlebotomist I is the face of the company to patients, supporting them during routine health visits or significant health decisions. Responsibilities include drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining a safe, professional, and trusting environment. The Phlebotomist I demonstrate leadership, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in patient information handling.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily activities accurately and on time under area supervisor guidance.
- Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
- Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing per established protocols.
- Maintain required records and documentation.
- Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
- Explain procedures to patients skillfully and accurately while drawing blood specimens.
- Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric patients.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) is preferred.
- Minimum 6 months’ experience required.
- 1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.
- Keyboard/data entry experience required.
- Must be able to use straight needles.
- Must be proficient with computer EMR (Electronic Medical Records) programs.
