Shift: A- Schedule Mon - Fri 6:00 am -3:00 pm OR B-Schedule Mon - Fri 7:00 am -2:30 pm & Saturdays 7:00-12:00 pm
Duration: 2 months

Pay Rate: $21/Hr on W2.
 
Job Summary:
The Phlebotomist I is the face of the company to patients, supporting them during routine health visits or significant health decisions. Responsibilities include drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining a safe, professional, and trusting environment. The Phlebotomist I demonstrate leadership, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in patient information handling.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under area supervisor guidance.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing per established protocols.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
• Explain procedures to patients skillfully and accurately while drawing blood specimens.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric patients.

Education & Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 6 months’ experience required.
• 1+ years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.

Additional Details:

• Must be able to use straight needles.
• Must be proficient with computer EMR (Electronic Medical Records) programs.
