Assignment Length: 13 Weeks | Temp with Option to Convert to Perm
Schedule: Thurs, Sat, Sun | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (36 hrs/week)
Shift: Day (AM)

Experience: Minimum 1 year CT experience required

Job Summary
The CT Technologist, under the supervision of a Radiologist, performs high-quality computed tomography (CT) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by licensed providers for disease and injury diagnosis. This role requires technical proficiency, patient-centered care, and adherence to established safety and imaging protocols.
Key Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT scans in accordance with exam protocols and standards.

Apply knowledge of radiation safety, dose monitoring, and follow-up actions when reference levels are exceeded.

Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

Screen and prepare patients, confirm identity, obtain consent, and ensure pregnancy status verification when applicable.

Communicate effectively with patients and families, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.

Maintain imaging records and required documentation according to policies.

Adhere to safety, infection-control, and radiation policies.

Assist with supply management and cleanliness of the imaging area.

Support patient care across all age groups: newborn to geriatric.

Serve as preceptor for onboarding new staff as needed.
