Job Title: Certified Medical Coders - Outpnt & ED
Job Location: Bronx, NY 10451
Job Duration: 3 Months+ (Possibility of extension)
Shift time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, any 5 days in a week
Pay Range: $30 - $35/h on w2. (Negotiable)

Job Description:
- Medical coding in an acute care setting; must possess proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, ICD 9 CM, CPT 4, Encoder)
- Knowledge of coding guidelines, payor guidelines, federal billing guidelines.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology & disease processes
- Ability to research coding related issues; competence in coder training; must have CCS and knowledgeable with 3M/HDS coding application.
- Outpatient and ED experience.
Skills:
- Three years’ experience Knowledge of ICD10
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED, AHIMA, RHIA or RHIT and/or CCP, CCS
