Pay Rate: $22 - $23 per hour
Shift M-F Day shift
100% Onsite
Hours 8am 4pm / 7am 3pm


How do we make an impact?

The position is focused primarily on laboratory support services within company core offerings of order entry, order management, operating customer procurement systems, stockroom services, material handling, and receiving.

What will you do?

Use the company or customer's inventory/order management electronic systems to perform the following activities: on-site program replenishments and disbursements, receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry and expediting.
Perform laboratory services such as order delivery, autoclaving, cleaning and deconning lab space, and biological waste processing.
Analyzes/maintains/reconcile various customer and company reports to ensure partner requirements are met
Follow work processes as outlined by our written procedures
Listens to customer concerns, effectively addresses issues with a goal of resolution within established timeframe, and proactively communicates with supervisor, any customer concerns and/or potential problems
Engages in process improvement activities
May perform other responsibilities as assigned by management. May need to be cross trained.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Possesses the interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate with various levels of company personnel & customers.
Knowledgably operate handheld scanners and perform data entry function
Demonstrates computer proficiency and possess intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite of software. Uses organizational skills to multi-task and meet due dates as needed.
Works primarily at customer sites, which may require working independently. Work areas may include spaces where chemical-based allergens may be in use (such as penicillin, tetracycline, etc.)
Depending on area of building, personal protective equipment may be worn to include lab coats, coveralls, full Tyvek hood, facemask, hair nets, safety gloves, safety glasses, steel toe shoes, and/or bump hats.
Requires the ability to lift, push and pull 30-40 pounds consistently; it may be required to lift 50 pounds, including operation and use of pushcarts, pallet jacks, etc.

SUMMARY:

Provides work directions to and/or performs all duties of a Sr. Site Specialist to assure customer satisfaction. Monitors workflow to optimize staffing and services for customer. Works closely with customer, sales representatives/managers to ensure all service expectations are supported. Services may include the portfolio of services provided including order entry, order management, operating customer procurement systems, stockroom services, material handling, receiving, lab cleaning/decon, and autoclave operations. Acts as a liaison between customer, sales, suppliers, logistics and management using special system knowledge to ensure success of customer relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists in organizing the staff and workload to meet or exceed productivity performance standards for company. May assist in the cross training of associates and the training of new hires.
Performs workflow with the team in support of contractual obligations and in line with established standard processes.
Acts as subject matter expert to answer customer and sales representative s questions and resolve problems. Expertise should include:
Knowledge of customer service agreements, service level agreements and relevant systems
Work instructions
Standard Operating Procedures
Standard Methodologies
Adopts PPI methodologies.
Works effectively with a diverse cross functional team.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills: + years of experience
2-3 years of equivalent experience, preferably within a laboratory setting or services.
Demonstrated customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
Minimum of 1 years detailed oriented work experience in a GMP regulated environment.

Preferred Skills:
Working knowledge of MS Office. MS Word skills required: templates, styles, headers, working with cross referencing figures, tables, and sections
Ability to work effectively independently as well as part of a cross functional team
Ability to relate and work well with people
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Cleaning labs.
Manage inventory effectively

Degree/Certifications:
High School Diploma, college degree preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to execute under pressure with short turnaround times
Ability to speak, write, and use all office equipment including scanner and printer, phone, computer, etc.
Regular use of fine motor skills
Ability to lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 30 pounds
Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
