Location: Tulsa, OK 74136
Duration: 12 Months+ Contract (Possibilities of Extension)
Position Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (with 2-year commitment)

Job Summary:
The Strategic Sourcing Specialist plays a key role in supporting procurement activities and driving cost-reduction strategies across various service lines. This role ensures vendor performance and quality standards are met while implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to achieve benchmark pricing and maintain supply chain resiliency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to department leaders on sourcing priorities and strategies.
- Assist in negotiating both local and national contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, GPOs, and distribution partners.
- Evaluate operational conditions to ensure contract terms align with sourcing strategy, including RFx processes.
- Maintain and track performance metrics for all contracts within assigned categories.
- Research alternative suppliers to ensure continuity and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic evaluations.
- Collaborate with Legal Counsel to address and prevent contractual issues.
- Make independent decisions on non-routine procurement problems under general supervision.
Working Relationships:
- Interacts with internal and external customers via phone and face-to-face.
- Works closely with healthcare professionals and staff.
- Frequently collaborates with individuals at the Director level or above.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 2 years in procurement, contract negotiation, analytics, or vendor/supplier management.
- Experience with supply chain strategies, spend analysis, RFx processes, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Basic financial knowledge and familiarity with sourcing for capital equipment, clinical products, and services.
- Experience with the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and execution.
- Understanding of contract renewals, modifications, pricing discrepancies, and supplier performance management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and support informed decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a healthcare procurement or sourcing environment.
Certifications (Required – One or More):
- Certified Sourcing Professional (CSP).
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
Preferred Certification:
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
