Phlebotomist II
Job Location: Summerville SC
Job Duration: 6+ Months
Shift: Mon-Friday 8a-430p
Overview:
The PSR II is the face of the company to patients visiting for routine health needs or critical health decisions. The role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and following established procedures. The PSR II builds patient trust by explaining procedures and performing blood draws skillfully, safely, and accurately. The position requires leadership behaviors, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy with patient information. Assignments may vary across doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and punctually under area supervisor direction.

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to procedures.

Verify patient demographic info and obtain patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm correct labeling.

Maintain required records and documentation.

Promote a positive organizational image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Demonstrate leadership behaviors and commitment to company policies.
Job Requirements:

Deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Work independently with minimal supervision.

Possess excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Adhere to all company policies, dress code, health & safety, and guiding principles.

Make sound decisions using established procedures and good judgment.

Have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable).

Able to travel and work across multiple locations with minimal notice.

Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting effectively.

Education & Certification:
-
High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
Experience:
-
Minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience.
