Phlebotomist I - 1st Shift

Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist)
Location: Needham, MA
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 3 Months
Pay: $21/hr (W2)

Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for collecting blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing. This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring a safe, professional, and comfortable experience while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform blood draws (including pediatric and geriatric patients)
• Prepare and process specimens following standard procedures
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Ensure a safe and professional environment
• Provide excellent customer service and build patient trust
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy experience (6+ months required, 1+ year preferred)
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in some states)
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays if needed
