Job Location: Richmond KY
Duration: 2+ months of Contract with (temp-to-hire)
Shift: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Overview:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of our company to patients visiting for routine health checks or significant health decisions. The role involves drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing while strictly following established protocols. The PSR II builds trust and confidence by explaining procedures clearly and performing phlebotomy skillfully, safely, and accurately. This position requires leadership behavior, attention to confidentiality, accuracy in patient information, and a commitment to process excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and on schedule under the supervision of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, professional, and clean work environment.

Confidently perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established procedures.

Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm tube labeling accuracy.

Maintain required records and documentation meticulously.

Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Job Requirements:

Deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Exhibit excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Flexible availability to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as staffing needs require.

Adhere to all company policies, including dress code, employee health and safety, and everyday excellence principles.

Make sound decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record (if applicable).

Willingness and ability to travel and work across multiple locations with minimal notice.

Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting effectively.

Knowledge of company business and processes.
Education & Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience:
-
Minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience.
