Duration: 3+ Months
Job Summary
The Pre-Analytical Assistant I supports laboratory and specimen processing operations by handling, sorting, storing, and preparing specimens for testing. This role works in a fast-paced production environment and ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely specimen processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, rack, centrifuge, aliquot, store, and transport specimens
- Identify and resolve specimen or documentation issues
- Follow laboratory compliance, safety, and quality procedures
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate documentation
- Support workflow and team operations as needed
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic data entry and computer skills
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a production environment
- Medical terminology or lab experience preferred
- Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs

- Onsite position (not remote)
