The System Director RN Education provides strategic leadership and oversight for nursing education programs system-wide. This role is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating education initiatives that align with organizational goals, clinical quality metrics, and evidence-based practices.

Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours/week
- 8 hours/day, Monday–Friday
Job Summary:
The System Director RN Education provides strategic leadership and oversight for nursing education programs system-wide. This role is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating education initiatives that align with organizational goals, clinical quality metrics, and evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive nursing education strategy including orientation, onboarding, competency assessments, and professional development.
- Serve as a thought leader and advisor on nursing education and workforce development needs.
- Establish and maintain nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care reflecting best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure equitable access to educational resources across all facilities, addressing diverse learning needs.
- Lead initiatives supporting specialty certifications and advanced practice roles.
- Partner with clinical leaders to analyze data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
- Promote innovative teaching methodologies leveraging technology such as e-learning, simulation, and virtual reality.
- Establish metrics to evaluate education program effectiveness related to clinical outcomes and employee engagement.
- Address competency gaps and align programs with patient safety goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Ph.D., Ed.D., or DNP)
- Current Registered Professional Nurse (RN) licensure
- Certification in nursing leadership
- Leadership or supervisory experience
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
