Title: Phlebotomist (Traveler)
Location: Presque Isle, ME - Open to candidates from other locations too.
Shift: 05:00 AM - 17:30 PM EST
Duration: 3 months
Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is the frontline contact for patients, responsible for professional blood specimen collection, accurate labeling, and preparation for laboratory testing. This role ensures a safe, confidential, and positive patient experience while following established procedures and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Perform clinical and forensic blood specimen collection (venipuncture) accurately and safely

Verify patient identity, demographics, and specimen labeling in the patient’s presence

Explain procedures clearly and build patient trust and confidence

Process and document specimens according to company and regulatory standards

Maintain accurate records and protect patient confidentiality

Support daily operations under supervisor direction with accuracy and timeliness

Maintain a safe, professional work environment

Represent the organization positively to patients, clients, and staff

Work at multiple locations (patient service centers, physician offices) as needed
Qualifications
-
2–3 years of phlebotomy experience required

Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance with procedures

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to change
Work Requirements

Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime

Willingness to travel and work at multiple locations with minimal notice

Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable)

Consistent attendance, punctuality, and full-shift availability required
