Shift: 05:00 AM - 17:30 PM EST
Duration: 3 months

Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative (PSR) is the frontline contact for patients, responsible for professional blood specimen collection, accurate labeling, and preparation for laboratory testing. This role ensures a safe, confidential, and positive patient experience while following established procedures and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical and forensic blood specimen collection (venipuncture) accurately and safely

• Verify patient identity, demographics, and specimen labeling in the patient’s presence

• Explain procedures clearly and build patient trust and confidence

• Process and document specimens according to company and regulatory standards

• Maintain accurate records and protect patient confidentiality

• Support daily operations under supervisor direction with accuracy and timeliness

• Maintain a safe, professional work environment

• Represent the organization positively to patients, clients, and staff

• Work at multiple locations (patient service centers, physician offices) as needed

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of phlebotomy experience required

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance with procedures

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to change

Work Requirements

• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime

• Willingness to travel and work at multiple locations with minimal notice

• Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable)

• Consistent attendance, punctuality, and full-shift availability required

• Training location may vary based on availability
