Phlebotomist II
Job Location: Minneapolis MN
Job Duration: 3-4 Months
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:45AM-4:15PM
Pay Range : $25/hr on W2
Position Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of our company to patients—whether they come in as part of their health routine or for life-defining medical decisions. The PSR II is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing those specimens for laboratory testing while following all established procedures.
This role requires direct patient interaction, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while providing skilled, safe, and accurate specimen collection. The PSR II demonstrates leadership behaviors, process excellence, and a strong commitment to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. Successful candidates may be assigned to a doctor’s office, patient service center, or other locations as business needs dictate.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment at all times.

Confidently perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established practices and procedures.

Verify patient demographics and obtain patient initials/signatures post-venipuncture to confirm proper labeling in their presence.

Maintain required records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive company image to patients, clients, and the public.

Adhere to confidentiality and quality assurance standards in all work processes.
Job Requirements:
-
Ability to produce accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Capable of working independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed.

Ability to make sound decisions within established procedures and exercise good judgment.

Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record (if applicable).

Willingness to travel between multiple locations and cover other Patient Service Centers or In-Office Phlebotomy sites with minimal notice.

Strong ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

Demonstrates Superior Customer Focus—communicating clearly, transparently, and respectfully with peers, supervisors, and patients.

Ability to adapt to change quickly and maintain knowledge of company processes and goals.
Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent — Required

Medical training (e.g., Medical Assistant or Paramedic) — Preferred

Phlebotomy certification — Preferred; Required in California, Nevada, and Washington
Work Experience:
-
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
