Phlebotomist I
Patient Services Representative I (Phlebotomist)
Location: Milton, FL
Duration: 4 Months
Shift: Central Time | Monday–Friday: 6:30 AM–4:30 PM | Saturday: 7:00 AM–11:00 AM
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for collecting blood specimens, preparing samples for lab testing, and providing excellent patient care in a safe and professional environment. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws and specimen collection following established procedures
- Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure patient confidentiality and safety standards
- Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive patient experience
- Support both clinical and forensic specimen collection as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required; 1+ years preferred
- Strong pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy skills preferred
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA)
- Basic keyboard/data entry skills required
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts as needed
