Job Title: Phlebotomist Floater III
Location: Clinton MO
Duration: 2-3months
Shift: Early as 7:00am or as last as 6:00pm (8 hours shift)
Job Summary:
The PSR III serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients in a variety of settings including health check-ups and diagnostic testing. This role includes drawing quality blood specimens, preparing them for lab testing, and creating a professional, safe, and compassionate environment for patients. The PSR III will float to multiple locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Phlebotomy & Specimen Collection:
Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collections accurately.
Draw blood from pediatric, geriatric, and adult patients.
Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures.
Verify patient demographic information and labeling in the presence of the patient post-collection.
Job Requirements:
High-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong phlebotomy skills (including pediatric and geriatric collections).
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Capable of handling multiple priorities.
Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime shifts.
Logistics & Travel:
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable).
Travel to various locations on short notice.
Training locations may vary based on availability.
Education & Certification:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
Medical assistant or paramedic training.
Phlebotomy certification (Mandatory in CA, NV, and WA).
Work Experience:
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience
