Phlebotomist III - Floater

Title: Phlebotomist Floater
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: 5 Months (Possible Extension / Temp to Hire)
Shift: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, 6:30am – 3:30pm & Sat 6:30am – 12:30pm


Overview:
The PSR - floater represents the face of the company, delivering professional specimen collection services and ensuring exceptional patient care. This floater role requires travel between multiple sites, performing venipuncture and related duties while adhering to safety, accuracy, and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform skilled venipuncture (pediatric, geriatric, and capillary) and specimen processing
  • Verify patient ID and ensure accurate specimen labeling in their presence
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
  • Complete documentation and maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Adapt to different locations and work environments with minimal notice
  • Comply with company dress code, policies, and health/safety standards
  • Deliver high-level customer service and promote a positive company image.
 
Education & Experience:
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Required:  Three to five years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
  • Floaters travel in between multiple sites and are expected to be on time at whatever site they are covering for that day.
  • Floaters are able to submit mileage for expense reimbursement.
  • Additional Job Details: Advance experience Phlebotomist with and leadership capabilities.
