Duration: 3 Months + (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week

As a member of the healthcare team, the Surgical Tech collaborates with the surgical team to provide patient care, ensuring that patient goals are met and the hospital’s mission is fulfilled. The role involves performing procedures across various specialties and demonstrating strong collaboration with peers in surgical decision-making.

- Collaborate with the surgical team to provide patient care.
- Perform procedures across multiple specialties requiring technical knowledge and skill.
- Demonstrate advanced teamwork and decision-making in surgical patient care.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Two years of full-time equivalent experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- High School Diploma/GED and one of the following:
- Completion of a Surgical Technologist Program
- Completion of a Military Training Program as an Operating Room Specialist
- Completion of a sponsored Apprentice II Program
- Ten or more years of experience as a Surgical Tech
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent
