Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Training schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours per week: 37.5 (7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $68/hour negotiable (**Per-diem rates are also applicable for qualified candidates)
Role Overview:
Seeking a certified and experienced CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT scans, and bone density testing. The candidate will ensure high-quality imaging by applying appropriate techniques, maintain equipment quality control, and adhere to safety protocols while supporting radiologists with patient data management.

Role Overview:
Seeking a certified and experienced CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, CT scans, and bone density testing. The candidate will ensure high-quality imaging by applying appropriate techniques, maintain equipment quality control, and adhere to safety protocols while supporting radiologists with patient data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize appropriate kV and mA settings to ensure quality diagnostic CT images.
- Perform daily quality control and calibration checks on imaging equipment before patient studies.
- Administer radioactive materials to patients according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Maintain department documentation including logs, manuals, charge documents, and equipment problem reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct quality control, assurance, and safety tests, following radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles.
- Manage patient films and electronic data retrieval for radiologist interpretation.
- Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior to use and verify receipt on delivery day.
- Verify activity levels of radiopharmaceutical doses before administration.
- Current New York State License (L.R.T) in Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT certification in Radiography and CT (CT certification is mandatory with no exceptions).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Proficient in performing CT procedures following prescribed protocols for uniformity and accuracy.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and patient care skills before, during, and after imaging procedures.
- Experience in X-ray, CT scan, and bone density imaging preferred.
