SQE for SPV Remediation (US)
Role Description
In this position, you will plan and ensure the quality of purchased parts, directly influencing a positive customer experience. Working closely with partners from the Purchasing organization, you represent Philips expectations towards suppliers and drive them to high performance. By achieving our ambitious goals, you contribute significantly to the success of Philips.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for purchased parts
Supporting preparation, review, and approval of supplier quality documentation (e.g. control plans, PFMEAs, process validations, PPAPs)
Supporting and guiding process validation activities in our supply base
Representing Supplier Quality Engineering in cross-functional quality improvement initiatives
Education
Field of study: Engineering
Degree: Bachelor / Master / Diploma
Skills & Experience
Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering
More than 5 years of professional experience (medical devices industry or regulated industry preferred)
Experience in quality planning of purchased components (APQP/PPAP)
Experience in planning and execution of process validations
Strong communication skills, negotiation capability, solution-oriented mindset, team player
Preferred Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma (preferred)
Background in:
o Supplier Quality Management
o CAPA methodologies
o Regulatory compliance
o Continuous improvement practices
