Phlebotomist I

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients. This includes individuals visiting as part of their health routine or seeking insights into important health decisions. The PSR I is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing while following established procedures. The role requires direct patient interaction and the ability to create an atmosphere of trust and confidence. The PSR I must explain procedures clearly and perform blood collection in a safe, accurate, and skillful manner.

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation accurately.
• Promote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and professionalism at all times.

• Ability to deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent: Required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training: Preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification: Preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

• Minimum 6 months of experience: Required.
• 1+ year of phlebotomy experience: Preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment: Preferred.
• Keyboard and data entry skills: Required.
