Work Location: Temple, TX 76508
Length of Assignment: Initially 6+ months - possible temp to hire

Work Schedule: Sunday – Thursday: 2 PM - 10:30 PM (30 minute lunch)
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Customer Relations Specialist to join our team at the CR1 level. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for both internal and external customers, ensuring all phone calls, work requests, and service needs are handled with professionalism and efficiency. You will also monitor critical facility systems, support departmental projects, and play a key role in coordinating daily workflows.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and dispatch incoming calls and work requests from employees, patients, visitors, and the public.
  • Monitor environmental alarms, including doors, gates, parking lot intercoms, and CCTV systems.
  • Assist with scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow for patient transport staff.
  • Provide coverage and support for CR1 team members on any shift as needed.
  • Lead or contribute to special projects and initiatives that enhance departmental performance.
  • Offer feedback and suggestions to leadership to improve processes, increase efficiency, and maximize service quality.
  • Perform all duties in a professional, courteous, and competent manner while maintaining flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
 
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage challenging situations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort using technology in daily operations.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Reliable under pressure with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
 
Requirements:
  • 1+ year experience required
  • Experience in an administrative support role and/or customer service preferred. Healthcare, call center, or dispatch service experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED
