Patient Services Representative II (Phlebotomist)
Location: Boerne, TX
Shift: Central Zone, Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Duration: 3+ months

Job Summary:
The PSR II is the patient-facing role responsible for drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring patient comfort and trust. You’ll work under supervision, following protocols for specimen collection, patient verification, and documentation. Assignments may vary between doctor’s offices and patient service centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect forensic and clinical blood samples safely and accurately.

• Verify patient info and labeling during specimen collection.

• Maintain accurate records and a professional environment.

• Demonstrate leadership, confidentiality, and customer-focused communication.

• Work independently with minimal supervision, adapting to schedule changes, including occasional weekends and overtime.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant/paramedic training preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

• 3+ years phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

• 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

• Strong customer service and data entry skills.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.

• Flexible to cover multiple locations with short notice.
