Position: Specimen Processor I (SPT I)
Location: Irving, TX
Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM CST
Duration: 3+ Months
Summary:
The SPT I supports specimen processing operations including data entry, sorting, delivery, imaging, centrifugation, and aliquoting. Accuracy, speed, and adaptability are key. The role involves working in a biohazard environment and meeting productivity standards in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Skills: Basic computer knowledge; ability to type 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes/hour
- Experience: No prior experience required; lab or medical background preferred
- Other: Must be flexible with schedule (weekends, holidays, overtime as needed)
