Phlebotomist II
Duration: 3-4 Months
Location: Davenport IA
Shift: M-F 8am to 5pm
Position Overview:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of our company to patients, whether they visit as part of their routine health care or for important diagnostic testing. The PSR II is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring all procedures follow established standards.
This position requires direct patient interaction, creating an atmosphere of trust and professionalism while performing collections accurately and safely. The PSR II demonstrates leadership behaviors, process excellence, and a strong commitment to confidentiality and accuracy in patient information.
Successful candidates may be assigned to a doctor’s office, patient service center (PSC), or other locations based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.

Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following all established procedures.

Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm labeling accuracy.

Maintain required records and documentation per company and regulatory standards.

Promote a positive company image to patients, clients, and colleagues through professionalism and empathy.
Job Requirements:

Deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric experience.

Flexible schedule — must be available for weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including dress code, health & safety, and guiding principles.

Strong decision-making and judgment skills within established procedures.

Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record (if applicable).

Ability to travel and work flexible hours to cover multiple locations with minimal notice.

Capable of managing multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.

Demonstrates superior customer focus, open communication, adaptability, and business awareness.
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent — Required
Experience:
-
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
