Duration: 11/03/2025 – 02/02/2026
Shift: 1st Shift (08:00 – 16:30)
Schedule: 5x8 hrs/week, 40 hrs/week; Monday–Friday; no weekends; no on-call
Preferred Skills & Experience
-
One (1) year of healthcare experience.
Education
-
High School Diploma or GED – Required.

Completion of one of the following – Required:
-
MA program, OR
-
EMT-Basic course, OR
-
Trained on the job MA with one (1) year of healthcare experience, OR
-
Completion of MA Apprentice program.

Licensure & Certifications
-
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or an AHA approved equivalent – Required.
Job Summary
-
Room patients using the standard rooming procedure to assure optimal patient flow and meet customer service standards.
-
Perform clinical tasks including point-of-care testing, medication/vaccine administration, application of durable medical equipment, phlebotomy, and assisting with procedures.

Complete administrative duties including medication refills, prior authorizations, normal result communications, handling MyChart messages, and managing paperwork.

Support scheduling and referral facilitation tracking per clinic guidelines.

Provide and review educational materials, instructions, and After Visit Summaries with patients.
-
Document all patient care accurately and timely in EMR, including level of service when applicable.
-
Escalate compliance risks or patient safety concerns promptly to care team/leadership.

Perform pre-visit planning and registry management.
-
Follow safety and infection control standards for safe patient care and work environment.
-
Support inventory control and equipment maintenance.

May be responsible for specialty-specific clinical tasks and non-clinical duties within MA scope.

Obtain appropriate patient consent documentation for applicable procedures.

Other duties as assigned.
